Korn Ferry has partnered with a manufacturing organization on their search for a Union HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to lead the HR function and act as a true business partner to their site in the Greater Savannah area. The role will support key leaders and work with Centers of Excellence to drive change ad define organizational needs. They will be responsible for employee and labor relations, performance management, employee engagement, union negotiations and grievances and training and development.
Requirements:
- Understand and interpret the collective bargaining agreement, manage through disciplinary action decisions, dispute resolution, and manage grievance and arbitrations. Partner during bargaining to get to an effective result.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources or related field. Desired: Master’s degree.
- 5-7 years of Human Resources experience in a union environment (preferred manufacturing) and multi-site
- Comprehensive HR experience, including a complete understanding of and hands-on exposure to the full mix of HR functions in a union environment.
Salary Range: $120-135k base + bonus potential
